After spending 23 years in the military and then working as an engineering consultant for another 10 years, I was ready to retire. Retirement didn't last long. I got bored of reading and started several different crafts until I fell in love with leather! The smell of leather. The feel of leather. It's a wonderful thing to wake up to every morning! So, I invested in WAY too much in leather working tools and realized I should learn enough about the craft to pay for all these tools! Thus, Kimberlin Design began in the spring of 2014.
This was my first attempt at stamping a cross and using stain plus antiquing. I was harder than I thought it would be trying to keep the stamps lined up edge to edge. The antiquing took a couple of tries. Overall, I was happy with how it turned out and it was my very first item sold!!
